3-Day Masterclass in Vital Pulp Therapy & Dental Trauma
Dates: NOVEMBER 7-8-9, 2025
Tuition fees: 790€
Masterclass Overview
This 3-day Masterclass is divided into two main sections:
Day 1
Focused on Vital Pulp Therapy (VPT) for advanced carious lesions and the management of immature permanent teeth. This day equips every practicing clinician with the necessary knowledge of pulp biology, diagnostic protocols, and the management of deep carious lesions. Participants will develop clinical skills and techniques aimed at preserving pulp vitality using modern bioceramic materials.
Hands-on practice includes:
• Working on specially designed 3D tooth models on VPT techniques using various bioceramic materials
• Practicing immediate restorative procedures and cusp coverage after VPT
• Learning deep margin elevation techniques for subgingival lesions
• Practicing different apexification techniques and plug techniq on 3D immature prermanent teeth
Day 2 & Day 3
Day 2 and Day 3 are dedicated to the management of Traumatic Dental Injuries (TDI). The management of TD has been separated in 6 Trauma Modules:
Trauma I: Hard dental tissues injuries (Crown,crown/root,root fractures)
Trauma II: Periodontal and supporting bone injuries (Luxations injuries, Avulsions, Alveolar Fractures)
Trauma III: Primary Dentition
Trauma IV: Post-traumatic Complications (Pulp necrosis,Obliteration, Resorptions, Alveolar bone loss)
Trauma V: Tooth Loss-What’s next?? (Autotransplantation, Decoronation, Orthodontics, Implant placement, Prevention of TDI with sports mouthguards)
Trauma VI: Prevention of Dental Trauma and the Use of Sports Mouthguards
Day 2
Day two is dedicated to providing first aid for all types of dental trauma in the permanent dentition. The primary goal is for clinicians to confidently diagnose and manage any category of dental trauma, accurately identify which tissues are involved, and provide immediate first aid for injuries affecting hard dental tissues, soft tissues, and periodontal tissues.
Participants will learn how to create an appropriate treatment plan, inform patients about the long-term prognosis, and apply the correct splinting techniques when necessary. Hands-on training will be provided on specially designed 3D jaw models, allowing participants to practice on:
• Different repositioning techniques for displaced teeth
• Reattachment of fractured tooth fragments
• Esthetic rehabilitation of fractured teeth
• Suturing of soft tissue injuries
• Application of various splinting methods
Day 3
The third day focuses on understanding the potential post-traumatic complications, depending on the severity of each injury. There will be an in-depth analysis of all possible complications that may arise in the pulp, periodontal tissues, and bone. Emphasis will be placed on:
• When to expect complications such as pulp necrosis, pulp canal obliteration, various types of root resorption or alveolar bone loss after trauma
• How to correctly diagnose and manage these conditions in a timely manner
This day will also explore an interdisciplinary treatment planning for traumatized patients and the collaborative management between different dental specialties (Endodontics, Orthodontics, Periodontology, Prosthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Oral Surgery). The goal is to achieve optimal management and restoration of traumatized patients
Additionally, participants will gain a thorough understanding of trauma prevention and the proper fabrication and use of customized sports mouthguards for their patients.
